So he had agreed to go swimming with her. Oooh, funn!! Seriously, as if //any// guy could resist Daylin Rae Connors in a bikini. I mean, seriouslyy, with those curves &&that tan?? Ya, Blake was a smart boy.
Daylin finished her sammich within minutes, washing it down with her Diet Coke before nibbling on the rest of her french friess. That was surely the bestest-est //girl// cheese evahh.
"Ohh... I'm staying here 'til I go to school in September," she told him, adding, "you?" out of pure politeness. DeeCee was being POLITE?!? What's the world coming to??
Honest-to-God, this boy Blake had //quite// the affect on her.
Once he replied, Daylin stood up out of her seat. "Will you excuse me one sec?? I have to go powder my nose," she stated, lying through her unnaturally white teeth. "Thanks," she walked over next to him and planted a quick peck on his cheek before grabbing her purse and walking off to the ladies' room.

The blonde boy wasn't sure whether or now they were going to the beach or the pool. The pool kind of hurt your eyes after a while, but was more clean I suppose. The ocean could get pretty rough, but the kid still loved it.
"That's a pretty long time.." He observed. That was an awfully long vacation. But for Daylin, no vacation was long enough for the money she had. ""Till my parents tell me to come home." He said with a grin.Yes, he still listened to his parents. Well, he loved his mom and dad. They weren't the richest people in the world, but yet again, Blake didn't care about stuff like that.
"Yeah..sure." He declared. It seemed wierd that a girl like Daylin needed to go powder her nose. What girl ever actually goed to powder her nose. He was kind of concerned. He heard too many stories about girls like this. You would think, that with all the attention she gets she could be happy with herself. Maybe someday she'd realize that there actally is more to life.
As the girl walked away, he tapped his fork against the glass plate to some random beat. He was getting kind of into it, and some waiter actually had to tell him to stop. "Oh, uh..sorry." He said with an awkward laugh.

Daylin walked down the short hallway to the ladies' room, pulling open the door and stepping inside. She glanced around for other women, seeing that there was one other stall closed. Oh well.
Walking into the stall farthest from that one, Day shut the door, locked it, and set her purse atop the toilet paper dispenser. Opening it up, she searched out her oh-so cute pink toothbrush. Using the non-bristled side, she went to work, making sure to flush each time so the other woman wouldn't hear her. Two flushes later, she emerged from the stall, walking to the sink.
Setting her purse on the counter, she fished out a tiny tube of toothpaste, brushing her teeth //very// thoroughly. Once she finished said task, she gargled with some mouthwash &&popped in a piece of gum.
Satisfied, she shouldered her bag and exited, but not before glancing in the mirror real quick to make sure her lipgloss was still perfectt. &&it was, of course.
She returned to the table about 10 minutes after she'd left. So it was a bit long for 'powdering her nose', but whateverr. DC set her purse down and took a seat, crossing one slender, tanned leg over the other. "Sorry it took so long. There was a line." Lying through those oh-so white teeth.
And usually she wouldn't mind speaking pure bullshit, but this was Blake. Blake was different. And Daylin Connors resented the fact that she had to lie to him.

This was taking much longer then the boy expected. Now, by this point he was leaning back in his seat with his head falling back. He had continued tapping the plate, but much quieter of course. Now wouldn't that just suck if he got them kicked out, because of his uncontrollabe music needs.
Eventually, the girl finally had returned. He quickly lifted his head up, and sat up straight. It probably looked more appealing then sitting there like a lazy lump. As the girl spoke he looked back at the door. It had no line, but he wasn't about to ask why. There could be some reason that he really didn't need to hear. Disturbing thoughts.. " S'all good." He said, slurring the first two words together.
"You didn't miss much." He reassured her with a chuckle. "I got told to shut up, like I was a third grader, but you know. Nothing new." He told his ex.

Though he was a total sweetheart, DC sensed that he hadn't bought the 'there was a line' shit one bit. But it wasn't like she'd fess up the truth. I mean, she'd defend her eating disorder to the death against some jealous fat-ass bitch, but to Blake? She didn't want to admit she had any imperfections, even if he knew better.
Daylin giggled, knowing full well how 'musically-inclined' the oh-so gawjuss Blakeyy could be. "Well, did you manage to pick up the check while I was gone?? 'Cause we should def. get outta here before they kick us out," she told him with a smile.
Well, actually, she just wanted to go skinny-dippingswimming with him. Maybe they could talk more now that their mouths weren't stuffed with food. That'd sure be nice. She'd like to hear more about how his music was going and maybe pick up on hints as to whether he missed her nearly as much as she missed him.
