As soft music played in the backround, Blake Rose sat down in a table only fit for two.Yes, it was somewhat of a romantic restaurant for two exes. But really, the food was so amazing and he really wanted to come here again. Although. it was somewhat expensive, he had a couple of gigs coming up pretty soon so he'd earn some more.
He had already had one earlier today. Actually, there isn't a day when he doesn't perform somewhere actually. It was a good way to earn money. But really, besides his family, music is what he loves most in his life. He always has, ever since he was a little boy. It really helps that his whole family plays at least one instrument, and every time he goes home, they all just hang out.
Blake was indeed waiting for Daylin. They went out in the past, but somehow they had a big fight. It was pretty depressing actually and they broke up. It was a couple of months ago, and they have been hanging out a lot.
He was wearing a casual outfit, even thought the restaurant was kind of fancy. It's not like Blake to get all dressed up, to go out for a friend. Unless they're just doing that for fun. He was wearing a black band T-shirt that read 'cute is what we aim for' along the front in white, dark navy jeans with white vans to match. Upon his head was a black beanie of some sort, which made his hair flip out at the sides.

&+everybody's Considering La Peña Alta's at the resort anyways, Daylin had justified walking. That way, if she drank, she wouldn't have to worry about driving her beloved white Porsche Boxster S. Not to say she didn't pay a price in the name of not getting a DUI in Mexico, because walking ten yards in a pair of grey Fendi "Crossword" patent leather platform sandals is a painful experience. Oh, but it was well worth it to see sexy Blake.
Her Versace mirrored handbag was on her arm and she consequently dug through it in search of her metal-rimmed Dior sunglasses. Those slender fingers of hers gently rummaged through all the makeup she had in there, careful not to damage her freshly-manicured French tipped nails. "Finally!!" she sighed, slipping on the sunnies over her pale baby blues.
Daylin had gone relatively light on makeup on this fine day: powder, mascara, thin eyeliner, and blush. She'd rimmed her pouty lips in a flush skin color and applied a bit of nude gloss. Okay, so maybe it wasn't so 'light', but whatever. Her platinum mane was worn down, straightened and falling to a couple inches below her bust.
Raking her fingers through her product-laden locks, she was careful not to mess up her oh-so perfect bangs. Once she arrived at the restaurant, she entered and explained her situation to the hostess. "I'm meeting someone. Blake R-" she started, before spotting him sitting at a 2-person table all alone. "Nevermind," she quickly stated, her hand gesturing the horridly average woman away.
Click-clacking over to where he sat, she enthusiastically wrapped her arms around his neck in a massive hug. She was so excited, she hadn't even waited for him to stand up. "Blakee!!!" she squealed, grinning from ear to ear. Her teeth were white, of course, she bleached them on a regular basis. "Sorry to keep you waiting, babe. I was running a bit late on my mani," she explained, holding up her hand -acrylic nails facing him- to prove her point.
She stood back a moment, hiking up her pink Juicy Couture tube dress on her C-cup bust. The top of the dress was stretchy and smocked, hugging her curves, but about mid-rib cage it fell loosely, ending in a ruffled hem. It fell to about mid-thigh. Tres chic, right? Pulling off her sunglasses, she took a seat and dropped them into her purse. gonna love today;;

One of Blake's favourite songs came on the radio. Wow. He really wasn't expecting him, due to the fact that the music was all slow and romantic esque. This song was more fast, and heavier music. As he waited for the girl, he tapped the table along with the beat with a fork. A few people looked at him, as if he was bothering them, and he mearly smiled with a nod of his head.
Soon enough, Daylin had arrived. At the exact same moment her arms were already wrapped around his neck. He was going to stand up and everything. He hugged ther girl back tightly around her waist, then gripped both sides of her head with his hands. He kissed her forehead lightly, and messed up her hair a bit. Not enough to ruin it, he knew that she hated that with a passion, and well, he was a nice guy.
He motioned for her to sit down, before she did, and he sat down as well. The boy now rested his chin in his hand, and his elbow was lightly resting on the table. "You look beautiful, Daylin." He said with a smirk. Well, it wasn't just something to say to try and get her on his good side. The boy spoke the truth. Plus, he wasn't into the whole 'damn girl, you fine' type of speaking. "Man, I missed you." He said, still resting in the same position, and smiling at her. "Don't leave me for that long, fool."

t-a-s-t-e-y;; Awwh, what a sweetheart. He stood up to return the hug and everything, even giving her a peck on the forehead. No wonder she'd fallen for this guy months ago. Though Daylin was always one to pursue hotties with bodies, this guy had a heart to boot. And maybe that was why it'd ended, because she couldn't handle being with someone with a conscience, someone who actually gave a shit about her.
She crossed her legs beneath the beautifully clothed table, one of her Fendi heels tapping against the floor sub-consciously to the beat of the music. Her hands folded in her lap, her pale blue eyes met his. He'd complimented her already! This was DC's kind of guy for sure. "Awwhh. Thanks, sweetie. You're looking damn handsome yourself," she returned the compliment with a playful wink.
Now this was a rarity, to see Daylin act like a human being. But something about Blake changed her, she could be more like herself around him. It was nice, to stop fronting for just an hour during lunch. "I missed you too. We've got to do this more often," she told him with a smile.
Seeing that their waiter was glancing in their direction, she unfolded the menu to take a look and decide what she wanted. See, that was the beauty of her bulimia - she could eat anything and however much she wanted, and she'd still maintain her perfectly hourglass figure with those curves of hers and tiny waist.girl, you tastey&&

As DC's pale blue eyes met his, his green eyes connected with hers aswell. The song had changed from his favourite one, to a much slower one, but it was actually pretty cool. He heard the girl tapping her foot with the music, and he tapped his hands, as if they were a two person show. Blake laughed, before leaning back in his chair.
He smirked at the girl. He knew how she had acted when he wasn't around. It was like she was two different people. He didn't like the DC that she was without him around. She as somewhat bitchy and just not what he's into. That's partially why they broke up aswell. When he was with her alone, he always remembered why they were together. Although he's not a jock, or some macho popular guy, she still went out with him. He wasn't quite sure what her friends thought, since he's pretty much and average music kid.
"For sure." He replied to the suggestion. It was fun to hangout with her, and he was happy they were still friends at least. He still felt kind of protective. If a guy was hitting on her and he knew she didn't like her, he wouldn't mind stepping in. Whenever she needed someone to talk to, who actually listens and won't spread rumours, he was always there for her.

{ grilled Daylin sensed the comfortable silence between them. Usually, she couldn't stand silence, she'd start yapping on and on about something. But not with Blake, he was different. Around him, she could just lay back and chill. Smiling, her eyes temporarily left the menu to find her ex. "Hey, so what've you been up to lately?" she asked, hoping there'd be no word of a girlfriend or anything. Because, well, despite how much Blake seemed to change her, Daylin's jealous tendencies would break out.
She glanced back down to her menu, finally deciding on what she'd like for lunch. Once the waiter came over to their humble little table, Daylin looked up at him with a smile, "I'll have a Diet Coke and grilled cheese sandwich." Daylin then folded the menu back up and handed it to the man standing over them. "Thanks," she mumbled, hoping no one would hear her. Because if word got around that DC was polite, hell itself might freeze over. cheese.

OOC;; ORANGE!
BIC;; Blake began to study the menu. So many choices. He was contenly looking through all the lists, and soon his green eyes met the prices. Oh dear lord. Flipping back a couple pages, to the cheaper foods, the smile formed on his face again. Yes, not your typical teenage boy here. His dad doesn't supply all this money, he actually earns it. He wouldn't have it any other way either.
Blake smirked at the girls question. "Well, I got a girlfriend, and she's pregnant now." He said nodding casually. He wasn't serious, he just wanted to see what the girl would do. He had a feeling she might know that he was lying. If you were that close with someone, sometimes you start to know more about them then you know about yourself.
Soon, the waiter came back to their table and he hadn't really thought completely about what he was going to order yet. He could probably eat the whole menu. He did eat a lot, but his metabolism was really fast, which pretty much made his life. "Uh..yeah." He said, as he quickly glanced up at the waiter, then back down at the menu. "i'll have a root beer, and, uh.." He said, as his face started to turn into some sort of a confused look. "Spaghetti." He decided on.

Ehmahgawdd!! Did he just say girlfriend?? A-and she's PREGNANT?? Whatthefuckk? Daylin's mind was racing after his simple statement. But could you blame her? I mean, honestly, that's enough to give someone a heart attack. "Wait, w-what??" she asked him, a look of utter shock in her pale blue peepers.
If he actually had gotten a chick pregnant, than he'd be committed, and that meant no chance in hell of Daylin ever having any non-friend relationship with Blake again. She just couldn't bear that thought. Not when he was the only ex of hers that she got along with.
So this is the ONLY soul in the entire universe that can render Daylin Rae Connors speechless. And if he told anyone, she'd kill him.
She watched in awe as he ordered, her gaze following the waiter as he walked away before turning it back to Blake. Daylin absent-mindedly fiddled with the hem of her dress, a nervous habit of sorts. Not that she was anxious in the least, maybe it was just her mild ADD kicking in. Probably.

Blake let out a faint chuckle at the girls reaction. He didn't think that she would believe him. I mean, Blake wasn't the type of guy to get a girl pregnant after two months. "No. She's not pregnant." He reassured her with a small chuckle. She seemed to have got so worried about him, which made him wonder for a minute or two.
"Wait..I don't even have a girlfriend!" He said with a small chuckle, as he realized he kind of left that out.
He kind of felt bad for doing that. It really did look like the girl was about to have a seizure or something. Geeze. "Im sorry." He said tilting his head to the side, and pouting his bottom lip somewhat. Blake reached across the table and grabbed her hand. "Will you ever forgive me?" He said with a fake British accent, before letting her hand go.

Daylin gaped, shutting her mouth after a moment, before reaching across the table and gently smacking his forearm as if in punishment. "You're a dick, you know that?" she taunted, sitting back in her seat. She couldn't believe she'd bought it. She should've known better. But instead of thinking it through rationally, she got caught up in the heat of the moment and reacted out of pure emotion.
But she couldn't stay mad at him for longer than a second because she was secretly relieved he'd been lying. She couldn't have been happier, knowing that not only had he not impregnated a girl, but he didn't even have a girlfriend. Which meant she had him all to herself.
Caught up in her thoughts, he brought her back to Earth when his hand was placed on hers. His touch sent shivers down her spine, raising butterflies in her stomach, and bringing color to her cheeks. My God, what kind of affect did this boy have on her?
Daylin inhaled sharply, only able to breathe again once he removed his hand. "Yeah, of course... who could resist that face?" she teased half-heartedly, sitting back in her chair again and returning her breathing patterns to normal.
Another wave of relief washed over her as the waiter broke her away from her thoughts and brought her attention to the food he'd brought over. "Andd a grilled cheese for the lady," he announced, setting the plate in front of her with a wink. Usually, she'd full-on return the gesture with a couple flirtatious gestures of her own. But not with Blake here. She just nodded and smiled, "Thanks."
First, she took a sip of her Diet Coke, then picked up a steaming hot fry and hesitantly took a bite. Ouch. It was so damn hot, but not enough to actually burn her, so she took another bite.

Blake laughed along with the girl. Well, at least she didn't barge out of the place on a maddened rampage. "Yes. I know." He said nodding, with a large smile that only comes on occasion. He rubbed his forearm where she hit. Hey, it actually hurt for a couple seconds. "That was uncalled for." He said as he continously looked at the girl then back at his arm.
Suddenly, he realized that the girl was blushing. He didn't know why really. I mean, this girl could have any guy in Mexico right now if she wanted. He wondered what made him so special. Maybe it was just a splur of the moment type of thing, and it didn't really mean anything. He was getting so caught up in his thoughts.
"Well.. probably a lot of people, actually." He said with a laugh about the resistance comment. It was true. If he did that face to his parents or something, or some random teacher.. it most likely wouldn't work. He had never tryed it on another girl, so who knew really. Although, he didn't really plan on attempting it.
Eventually, the waiter came back. He actually forgot that they had ordered food, and it came pretty quick. Man, this was a good restaurant. Blake slipped his hat off and shoved it under the table, on his lap. He had forgotten to take it off once he entered the building. Great. He messed around his hair a bit, only before flipping the most of the blonde strands to the right side of his head. "Yuummay in my tummay." He said, as his green eyes looked down at the food, then ventured there way back up to the girl.

After nibbling away at like six french fries, Daylin picked up a sandwich half, bringing the still-hot, cheesy, toasted bread to her lips. She took a little bite to make sure it wasn't too hot. And when she'd confirmed her fears were for none, she took another couple bites before taking a sip of her Diet Coke.
Glancing to the handsome boy sitting across the table from her, Daylin decided to spur some form of conversation. "So what're you doing after our little lunch date?" she questioned, using the term 'date' strictly in a platonic sense.
Her expression read that she didn't give a shit what his plans were, but in the back of her mind, she hoped he wasn't busy. Because, well, Daylin likes the feeling of comfort she has around Blake, she doesn't have to front and she wouldn't mind lingering in his presence a couple extra hours.
As he replied, she took the liberty of eating another couple fries and finishing off the remainder of 1/2 of her grilled cheese. Now it was time to start on the second half. Ah, the wonders of bulimia. All the food you could want with no guilt afterwards - the perfect combo for the girl without a conscience.

Blake looked down at the steamy plate of spaghetti the waiter had placed in front of him, mearly moments ago. This was when the boy picked up a fork and attempted to spin the soft noodles around it. It failed miserable the first time, but eventually it wrapped around, and he took a couple more bites from the swirled fork.
After taking a small sip of his root beer he placed it back down and frowled at it. They had put too much ice in it. For such a fancy restaurant, they still use the cheap way of saving pop. Fill half the cup with ice. Fools. His attention suddenly turned back to the girl as he pryed his green eyes off of the wet cup, although his head seemed to still be facing downwards.
"Umm.." He said thinking for a moment or two. He couldn't think of anything he had to do afterwards actually. At least, not until later tonight. "Well, im meeting Lauren later.. but that's like, a long time away." He said, now sitting up completely, and leaning back in his chair.

Oooh, so he wasn't busy. Scoree.
Nodding along with his explanation of his plans with Lauren (later, though), Daylin rolled her frail shoulders forward in a casual shrug. "Uhmm, well, I was gonna, like, go swimming or something after lunch. So if you wanna come with, that's cool," she offered, careful not to display a hopeful smile.
Instead, her soft pink lips were pursed in their usual fashion, only parting briefly so she could take a sip of her Diet Coke. Her teeth may not be in the best health due to her love of soda and her particular weight loss habits, but you wouldn't know it with her frequent bleaching practices.
Turning her attention back to her sandwhich, she took another couple bites, careful not to let any crumbs fall onto her pink Juicy Couture tube dress.

"Well.." Blake said as if he was thinking hard about that. But really, he wouldn't want to do anything else after then go swimming. He hadn't actually gone swimming in a really long time. He had been surfing, because he teaches it, and it's one of his favourite hobbies. He just hasn't actually gone to the beach, just for swimming. It also wouldn't hurt to hang out with one of his friends. Or close friends. He didn't even know what they were at this point.
"Yeah, for sure." He replied with his usual slang. Aswell as a slight southern accent. It wasn't extremely strong, but seeing as he was from Texas some words you could tell where he was from.
Blake then looked away from the girl and down at the food. He took a few more bites, until the pasta was nearly gone. It was pretty good. Although, his mom could make equally amazing pasta for free. Oh, how he loved his mother. "How long are you staying here?" He asked. I mean, she couldn't stay here forever, right. Unless she was planning on moving here or something.
